ABOUT OUR PROCESS

We will start with a home design. Lindal has dozens of options on their website, all of which can be customized to meet your needs or you can design one from the ground up!

Quick Ship - save time and money by using a home already drawn to completion! No structural changes can be made. So if you are wanting to customize the structure, this may not be the best option for you. Finish options may be customized with the quick ship. If you have a question about what can and can't be changed on the quick ship, please ask your local Lindal dealer.

Lindal Elements and Classic homes - can be customized to meet your needs, whether it's just moving or adding a window, or removing or adding spaces and floors, these homes are a perfect way to get exactly what you want in a home.

Lindal Imagine Series, Turkel Design and Architects Collaborative. Amazing designs from award winning Architects and Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Usonian homes. Can be limited in the scope of changes that can be made, ask your local Lindal dealer for more information.

Preliminary pricing, based on the home design you have chosen, your local Lindal rep can give you a base or "starting at" cost for your dream home.

Site visit, our next step is to make sure your desired home works well on your lot. A Lindal representative will meet with you and your contractor at your lot to determine how the home plan will work with your topography, existing vegetation, views, and path of the sun.

Once the site visit is complete, we get down to plan changes! For a modest fee, Lindal can customize your home to fit your wants and needs. Lindal will provide basic floor plans and elevations for you to review.

Pricing, once the last plan changes are made, we will get detailed pricing from Lindal based on your Lindal home and interior and exterior selections. This should work in conjunction with your contractor to price out the remainder of the items and all the labor to complete your home.

Once pricing is finished and approved, we go to the final Lindal contract that details out the costs and all the selection materials that go with your floor plan.

After the contract has been signed and the deposit paid, Lindal will provide permit ready plans for submission to your local jurisdiction. Note: Lindal does not provide site plans, this will need to be supplied by an outside source.

Once your building permit is complete, setting up the Lindal material shipments takes place.
